Fellowship Program
18 Month Artist Fellowships: January 2022 – June 2023
Gallery Route One (GRO) is sponsoring two 18-month Fellowships beginning in January 2022. The Fellowships provide opportunities to participate in a vibrant, nonprofit gallery with an experienced gallery staff and practicing artist members. Fellowships include solo and two-person exhibitions as well as opportunities to participate in Artist Member exhibitions and Gallery Route One’s annual Box Show.


2022-23 Fellow: Nicole Irene Anderson
Nicole Irene Anderson has been chosen as the 2022-23 Fellow for the GRO’s Fellowship Program. Anderson’s work has shown in exhibitions throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including the Museum of Sonoma County and Root Division Gallery in San Fransisco. Her work, selected by Juror Jack Fischer of the Jack Fischer Gallery in San Francisco, is included in our upcoming Juried Show opening on January 22nd.

Fellowship Program Donation
Since 2014, Gallery Route One’s Fellowship Program has nurtured the studio practice of fourteen artists, 21-40 years old, throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition, the Fellowship Program furthers their art careers as skilled participants and leaders in community service.
