Gallery Route One artist membership is open to all professional artists living in the greater San Francisco Bay area. Artists from historically underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply because GRO embraces diversity, equity access and inclusion.
GRO presents: Artists’ Exchange with Jeannie O’Connor and Marilyn Levin, both use strata of mixed media to explore likeness and interpretation in their non-objective works.
September 16 – October 22, 2023 — Gallery Route One presents Palabras Perdidas by artist member, Charles Anselmo. Engaging ongoing themes related to urban context and the role of memory, Anselmo explores the dissonances of the forgotten cityscape through large scale social-documentary photographs.
September 16 – October 22, 2023 — Zea Morvitz presents The Book and the Hourglass, an exhibit of altered books which considers how we attempt to record ourselves against the passage of time.
September 16 – October 22, 2023 — Gallery Route One’s Visiting Artist Program presents The Nature of Place, an exhibit of illustrations observing and exploring the flora, fauna, and culture of here by artist Laurie Sawyer.
September 16 – October 22, 2023 — Spanning ten years of artwork, Gallery Route One presents a retrospective of artist member Xander Weaver-Scull—College to Fatherhood.

GRO presents: Artists’ Exchange, “Invitation to a Voyage” – Artists Jan Wurm and Livia Stein lead viewers on an ocean cruise across colorful landscapes populated by dynamic human figures.
