GRO presents: Jeannie O’Connor and Marilyn Levin, both use strata of mixed media to explore likeness and interpretation in their non-objective works. Each artist “braids” her layers – photographs, cardboard, or paint – evoking the sensation of a Mobius strip, alternatively attracting and/or repelling the viewer.
