The Hero

I saw a YouTube video about a dangerous bus route in the Peruvian Andes and painted some images from the video onto the box:
The passengers
Horse Killer Switchback roads
The bus on the rodes
The interior of the bus
flowers from the Andes
A saying of the villagers who ride the bus to work in Lima, Peru:
“Better to arrive a bit early in this life, than early in the next….”
A reference to how the bus driver saves lives.
I used gel pens, colored pencils, and acrylic paint. The images were first created digitally using Microsoft Paint.
