Rabichev, Natali – Where Has My Little Fish Gone?
Story of the Box
Sometimes I feel like a very tired little fish. When this happens, I swim down into a little cove I have built for myself. I filled my cove with pebbles and shells that make me feel cozy, and if I am lucky, the moon comes and rests with me. I am free from the stresses of the open water, and no one bothers me. I can stay here in my cove for as long as I need to. Sometimes I look up and see myself, wondering where I’ve gone. When will I be back? I have things to do, and driving on back country roads without my little fish to guide me is not the safest idea. But my little fish sleeps on, only returning when it wants to swim again.
