GaNun, Geraldine – Go Where There Is No Path
Geraldine is a ceramic artist who is influenced by her innate love of all flora and fauna. A native of New York City, the close proximity to many wonderful museums and parks nourished her love of art at an early age. Birdwatching, a favorite past time, is reflected in many of her pieces. Imagery on clay has been an exciting addition to her current work and she uses fired on decals whether they be photos, or text in much of her art. This box titled “Go Where There Is No Path”, uses that technique with a decal application of the poem on clay, along with found objects, collage, and distressed paint.
