Story of the Box

If you opened a box of Covid, this is what it would look like. A huge and hideous plague doctor mask, like an ornate oversized muzzle, covers a man’s face. Is he sick? Or are the anguished faces around him his thoughts which the mask keeps him from expressing? I don’t know what’s more disturbing, the primal fear of disease or the tyranny of thought control.
