This year’s foAIS students visit the beachcus for Artists in the Schools was Climate and how it affects people, peace & planet. Atmospheric elements such as air, fire and rain connect people to the earth. Weather systems and atmospheric pressure can increase wind storms, drought and natural disasters. We would start our sessions with a weather report to tell our personal forecast for the day. We see life cycles and ecosystems coexist. Through our shared experiences over the school year, we hoped to bring about greater understanding about life in the field. We recorded healthy connections, relationship in balance and activities that allow us to be lifelong learners in the web of life that we are part of. The year’s project ended with an exhibit at Toby’s Gallery which also included work by the Latino Photography Project.
