I have always been an artist. “I see faces in the clouds” My art is personal, about things happening in my life, my surroundings, or in my mind. I love color, and use it with abandon. I use mixed water media including acrylics, watercolor, watercolor pencils and gold leaf, collage, paper clay. I work on paper and canvas, clothes, shoes and more.

Making Unique, handmade accordion books about music festivals, trips, working, playing is a passion. I finally got out after the pandemic shut down and got to draw on site making a book about the Redwood Ramble and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival and drawing in front of the Mill Valley Art festival at the music stage.

Making art with my Pataphysical Group for a small room sized Time Machine is an enjoyable inter art activity.

I love drawing and have been doing it all my life. I am the only artist here from starting of the Bolinas Drawing Group and I always include some life drawing in my art and shows.

In this exhibition Snakes and Ladders a painting that describes difficult times. It is different starting with the oval canvas shape that I love.

I have always been a teacher, even as a child I shared my big tin box of crayons and suggested color combinations. I love teaching all ages and many media. Doing a large art project with all ages at the Earth Day Marin event in Mill Valley was wonderful and I expect to repeat.

As a member of Gallery Route One, O’Hanlon center for the Arts, and The Pataphysical Studios I get to exhibits widely. I like volunteering with the local fire department and other non-profits. As the host of the radio show, Coastal Airwaves on KWMR, I converse with people who like me love what they do.

After attending Bard College, and the University of Arizona and more I was awarded a master’s degree from the San Francisco Art Institute.
