For 25 years our Artist in the Schools Program has inspired K-8 students to engage meaningfully with the world around them. We do this through hands-on science, art-making and creative writing led by professional artists and exceptional teachers. This spring students in the program explored the theme: HUMAN/NATURE. They thought about big questions such as “If we make and shape our world with our choices and decisions, what might our responsibility be to that world? What do we take for granted? What do we provide?” and they asked: “How can we creatively respond?”
From June 2nd to June 27 you can see their creative responses at Toby’s Art Gallery! Don’t miss this exhibit of outstanding work by West Marin Students.
