They move in concert

Feeling each other’s presence

In ways not available to us two-legs.

They know stillness …

Long periods of stillness……………

And

When they move

It is with a speed

That defies our ability

To even see

Their vanishing act

This piece has been a meditation

On Lizards

On Stillness

On Warp Speed…………..

While keeping one’s belly to the Earth

I hope

I have learned something of their secret
